About Me

Get to know me

Prior to starting An organised you, my career was in the corporate sector spanning over 25 years’ assisting busy people with their organising needs and projects.

I worked for a leading management consultancy specialising in LEAN and Six Sigma improvement methodologies and my earlier career was in project management and Executive Assistance to CEO’s.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages and feel fortunate to have been working in the organising industry for a number of years and have therefore gained invaluable experience working with a variety of lovely clients… retired people, professional entrepreneurs, medics and business executives, busy parents as well as confidentially supporting clients who are experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, OCD, anxiety or hoarding disorder at Level I or Level II or organising and productivity challenges of ADHD.

I am a mum of two teenagers and in my spare time I love music, running, the countryside, interiors and of course organising (we all benefit from continuous improvement!) and am slave to our demanding but lovely family pets too! For many years I have been trusted to provide professional support, advice and help to others with their organising needs.

I am passionate about decluttering and organising and its benefits to us as we age as it helps us improve our wellbeing, mental health, time management and productivity but also is so kind to those we love

As well as professional qualifications and experience gained in my earlier business organising career I am an accredited Member of the Association for Coaching and have been professionally trained by the Institute for Challenging Disorganisation (ICD) and hold their certificates in:

  • Study in Health Issues & Conditions affecting Chronic Disorganisation.
