I am Amanda Terry, founder and owner of An Organised You and a busy mum of two with over 25 years’ experience assisting busy people with their organising needs and projects.
I have a friendly, approachable style and am passionate about decluttering and organising and its benefits to improve our productivity, wellbeing and mental health as well as our time management.
I work with clients of all ages with Life Organising (paperwork, productivity and Swedish death cleaning) which I really enjoy as I believe that being an organised you now will help your loved ones too so they don't inherit your decisions that you are finding it hard to make yourself now.
My experience has shown that investing time to put in simple systems and routines and create new habits can help you create calm and order in your life and home and can enable you to have more time and space in your life to do the things you love to do.
I feel fortunate to have been working in the organising industry for a number of years and so have gained invaluable experience working with a variety of lovely clients……. retired people, busy parents, professional entrepreneurs, medics and business executives as well as confidentially supporting clients with the organising and productivity challenges of ADHD and clients who are experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, OCD, anxiety or hoarding disorder at Level I or Level II.
As well as professional qualifications gained in my earlier business organising career (prior to having my children, I worked for a leading management consultancy specialising in LEAN and Six Sigma improvement methodologies and also in project management/marketing and executive assistance to CEO’s) I have been professionally trained by the Institute For Challenging Disorganization (ICD) and hold their certificates in:

Study in Chronic Disorganisation.
Study in ADHD.
Study in Health Issues & Conditions affecting Chronic Disorganisation.
Study in Understanding Hoarding Disorder

In my spare time I love music, the countryside, interiors and of course organising (we all benefit from continuous improvement!). For many years I have been trusted to provide professional productivity support, coaching, advice and help to others with their organising.
